The department congratulates Prof. Jeremy Quastel for being named the recipient of the 2019 Jeffery-Williams Prize. Quastel will receive the award during the CMS Summer Meeting in Regina, Saskatchewan, June 7-10, 2019.

The Jeffery-Williams Prize is awarded annually since 1968 and it recognizes mathematicians who have made outstanding contributions to mathematical research.
